To Face the globalization era as it is now, of course we know that being able to communicate in English or being able to master of the English language is one of the ways to balance ourselves with the situation that exists. Therefore, it is not surprising if we often found the place for learn that language in every where. However, if the primary purpose of being English, then where are Indonesian language position?

In Indonesia, the policy of the instruction of English language as a foreign language changes over time and change policies that most influenced of the economy and politics.

Indonesian people is important to learn English because some things like; Indonesia surrounded by countries that most people there use the English language. For example, Malaysia, Filiphina, Australia and Selandia Baru. The second reasons is because the English language is the international language, so it is important to be able to speake English to communicate with people who have different backgrounds.Therefore, undoubted if English is important to learn in Indonesia.

Learning English language now is not only obligation for someone who will go to abroad, but also will be a requirement for all of us. Therefore, let us both learn and understand the English language well to balance ourselves in the era of globalization right now.
